Job summary

The Walsh Group invites students to join our internship program in the North Texas Region. This program prepares you for leadership positions on and off the jobsite, and offers hands-on experience in project engineering and field management.

Interns will support estimating and preconstruction, coordinate with supervision, and may travel across the United States. Some roles may require relocation after graduation; a 12-week schedule is typical, with opportunities to become a full-time employee.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals, assist in change orders.
