GoldBook Financial in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Leadership Director (Vice President of Sales Management) to recruit, coach and lead a team of financial advisors, driving annual production targets across protection and investment products. The hybrid role expects you to own a book of business, mentor advisors, and align recruiting with growth goals.

FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses and Life/Health licenses are required, with a proven track record in building advisory practices.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Leadership Director with an established advisor practice who is ready to grow into a broader leadership role—developing, mentoring, and guiding a team of advisors toward ongoing success.

This role’s focus and priority is to ensure sales growth by recruiting, evolving, and leading a team of financial advisors to meet annual production targets from the sale of protection and investment products, financial planning and wealth management services.

• A full-time, on-site Vice President of Sales Management (Leadership Director) in La Jolla, CA and/or Scottsdale, AZ.
• Proven experience and success in the sale of protection and investments products. And/or management of a successful sales team selling protection and investment products.
• A leader, coach, and mentor with a track record of successful sales management experience.
• A dedicated individual: independent, self-motivated and goal oriented.
• A strong relationship-builder who takes a people-first approach.
• A person who sees possibility and then brings everyone along. This demands leadership, diplomacy and patience.
• Be comfortable with frequent change, an enthusiasm for competition, and the ability to put the team’s needs first.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to measuring results.

This role is a hybrid position and can retain ownership of a book of business and maintain personal production.

What Will You Do?

Recruitment

• Lead front-line recruiting efforts to identify, attract, and engage qualified financial professionals who align with the firm’s values, growth goals, and client-focused approach.
• Establish networks and cultivate referrals to generate a steady stream of candidates.
• Partner closely with the recruiting and leadership teams throughout each stage of the recruitment process.

Leadership & Advisor Development

• Provide hands-on leadership and oversee reps as they grow into successful financial professionals.
• Set clear expectations around activity, pipeline, business strategy and case support.
• Provide ongoing support to a financial professional with a focus on long-term success.
• Broaden and deepen your skillset through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates.

Compensation

Please note the salary range posted is an estimated range.

Actual minimum compensation will be determined by years of experience, personal prior production, and/or team production if currently in a sales manager role.

Total compensation will also include commissions, overrides, bonuses and a robust benefits package.
