Job description

A physician position in Thoracic Program Medical Oncology Leader at Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute (Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology). The role will lead and develop a world‑class multidisciplinary program for thoracic malignancies (primary lung cancers, thymic malignancies, mesotheliomas) across national and international affiliates.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical teams in day‑to‑day patient care and research teams in the trial portfolio.
• Collaborate with thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, interventional pulmonology, thoracic pathology and radiology to maintain high quality of care.
• Expand translational research initiatives in partnership with the Center for Precision Oncology, Center for Immunotherapy and Immuno‑oncology, and the Department of Cancer Biology.
• Provide strong leadership and communication skills as a program coordinator and clinical investigator.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology.
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
• Eligible for an academic appointment at the level of Associate or Full Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

Compensation

Minimum salary: $500,000. Maximum salary: $600,000. Compensation is determined by professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history and FTE. This range excludes the comprehensive benefits package (healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, etc.).
