Job description

Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute is seeking physician applicants for the position of Medical Director for the GYN Medical Oncology Program. This position is in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology. It is a unique opportunity to grow a truly world-class multi-disciplinary program in the care of patients with gynecological malignancies that extend to national and international Cleveland Clinic locations.

The applicant is expected to possess the communication, patient care, and trial investigator skills necessary to effectively lead and the clinical teams that provide day-to-day care of patients with gynecological malignancies as well as the research teams and clinical trial portfolio of the program. They will work closely with our world class gynecological oncologists, palliative medicine specialists and radiation oncologists. The Director will also help us expand our translational research program in collaboration with the members of our Center for Precision Oncology, Center for Immunotherapy and Immuno-oncology, and Department of Cancer Biology.

The successful candidate should be board certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology and hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.The Director should have sufficient qualification to be eligible for an academic appointment at the level of Associate or Full Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
