Job summary

TRIPLE POINT SECURITY INCORPORATED in Leesburg, VA, seeks a Lead Zero Trust Architect to guide a small architecture and engineering team on enterprise Zero Trust initiatives for a national research organization's program.

You will define target-state architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, present recommendations to senior leadership, and align security controls with enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity architecture or security engineering, with Zero Trust design experience in large enterprises or federal environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and RMF SP 800-37; ability to map controls and evidence.
• Experience leading client-facing architecture engagements and presenting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture & Engineering workstream across Cloud/Hybrid Architecture and ZTA Analysts.
• Develop Future State ZTA aligning with EO 14028, M-22-09, HHS ZTA and CISA ZTMM v2.0.
• Manage ZTA process integration tracker including funding, ATO/A&A, CPIC, and procurement reviews.
• Coordinate with client leadership and governance bodies, delivering architecture deliverables and sessions.
