UChicago Medicine in Chicago’s Hyde Park is seeking an Imaging Team Leader (Xray) for the Radiology General Procedures department. This 100% onsite role maintains day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, and coordination with radiologists to ensure correct exams and optimal patient flow.

Be a part of a world-class academic health-care system, University of Chicago Medicine, as an Imaging Team Leader (Xray) in the Radiology Department. Here, you will be responsible for maintaining continuity in the day-to-day operations of the General Procedures section of the Department of Radiology. The Imaging Team Leader acts as a resource person to the other technologists, maintains inventory levels and fill out proper ordering forms to submit to the manager for ordering in a timely manner, keeps department clean and inspection ready at all times and meets regularly with the manager to discuss problems or suggestions for improving procedures and patient through-put. In addition, the Team Leader will perform general x-ray procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. They will provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient’s conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures and ensure the services are provided in accordance with industry standards, department protocols and hospital policies and procedures. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
