Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; must complete degree within 2 years if hired without BSN
• Minimum 2 years wound care experience
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
• CWOCN or CWCN certification required within 2 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Supervise the wound care team and educate staff
• Lead development and coordination of a cost-effective wound/ostomy care program
• Develop evidence-based protocols and practice standards for wound care and incontinence
• Monitor patient outcomes and ensure adherence to standards
• Collaborate with Clinical Education and Nutrition teams on care programs
• Lead in documentation audits and standardization for wound care
• Provide leadership to hospital-wide wound care initiatives and committees
