MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced RN Wound Care Lead for a full‑time day shift (10‑hour shifts). The role oversees the wound care staff, educates hospital staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care, and ensures adherence to patient care standards.

The position coordinates program development, establishes evidence‑based protocols, and monitors outcomes while collaborating with clinical education and nutrition teams to advance hospital‑wide patient care.

Qualificações

• Minimum two years of wound care experience.
• Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience.
• CWOCN or CWCN certification required within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and directs the Wound Care staff team activities.
• Leads development, facilitation, and coordination of a cost‑effective wound/ostomy care program.
• Develops evidence‑based protocols and standards for managing wound/ostomy and incontinence care needs.
• Monitors patient outcomes on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborates with Clinical Education on education programs for staff and inpatient groups.
• Develops evidence‑based treatment plans according to current wound care protocols.
