Job summary

Hill Country Wound Care and Hyperbarics is seeking a dedicated Lead Clinician to join our San Antonio area clinic. This role combines hands-on patient care with daily operational leadership to keep patient flow, staffing, and room readiness running smoothly.

You will work closely with providers, clinic staff, and the Director of Clinical Operations to follow established workflows, ensure safety, and maintain a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in wound care or hyperbaric settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic.
• Experience leading clinic operations and staffing is a plus.
• Familiarity with EHR documentation and patient data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical support for wound care procedures and room prep.
• Record vital signs and patient history accurately.
• Educate patients on wound care per provider instructions.
• Assist HBO therapy under supervision within scope.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Coordinate daily clinic flow and staffing updates.
• Lead morning huddles and communicate priorities to the team.
• Monitor supplies and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Escalate concerns to leadership as needed.
• Ensure a clean, patient-focused clinic environment.
