Job summary

Axis Platteville, CO is seeking a Rig Operator to lead a 4–5 person crew and safely operate the assigned workover rig at the customer site. You will supervise rig setup, inspections, and maintenance while ensuring adherence to safety programs and company procedures.

The role requires hands-on experience with workover rigs, ability to work in all weather, and travel as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CDL preferred depending on equipment and location.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of workover rig experience, including at least two (2) years as a Rig Operator.
• Derrick Hand and Floor Hand experience required; production experience preferred.
• Ability to access work areas at heights and work in hazardous oilfield environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4–5 person workover rig crew and operate and drive the rig as needed.
• Inspect rig setup, transport, and routine service equipment.
• Train crew on safety and procedures; manage daily maintenance and safety programs.
