Job summary

LCI Brand in Durham, NC seeks a Lead Worker, Production to support major production functions in the assigned department. The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lb, and reliable communication with the supervisor and team for daily targets.

You will train others, ensure adherence to work instructions, and back up the supervisor during absences while maintaining quality and efficiency across shift operations.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to collect and electronically enter production numbers.
• Train others to complete all tasks in the assembly side of the assigned department.
• Assist as needed to meet production goals.
• Adhere to work instructions and other company policies.
• Cover areas necessary during employee absences.
• Work with Supervisor to verify quality product is produced in an efficient manner.
• Will cover for supervisor in their absence, excluding disciplinary actions and time approval.
• Stand and walk for the entire shift; able to lift up to 75 lb; reach overhead to handle products.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Facilitate the performance of the major production functions in assigned department.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Durham, NC

Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to communicate with manager and co-workers. As specifically directed by Dept. Supervisor. Direct supervision consists of checks by the Department Supervisor during each shift.

• Will cover for supervisor in his/her absence, excludes disciplinary actions and time approval.

• Requires the ability to stand and walk for the entire shift. Requires the ability to perform all jobs in the assigned area. Requires the ability to bend from the waist to retrieve raw materials from pallets at ground level. Must be able to lift up to 75lb. repeatedly throughout shift. Must be able to reach high enough to carry product overhead as necessary. Must be able to effectively communicate standard methods to complete all area tasks. Must be able to gather and report production numbers and other data for system entry.
