Job summary

LCI Brand in Durham, NC is seeking an Inspector, QA to perform quality checks on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished goods. The role focuses on sampling, testing, data entry, and adherence to customer specifications.

The position requires reading contracts, using precision measurement tools, and communicating findings clearly to the team. It offers standard Monday–Friday hours with on-site work at our Durham facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with ability to keep accurate, neat records.
• Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, scales, protractors, tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts.
• Ability to analyze data to detect trends and communicate them to management.
• Ability to communicate with manager and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Obtains random samples from incoming materials and evaluates for conformance to specifications.
• Performs routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials and finished goods.
• Assist in writing procedures, work instructions and inspection report forms for area of expertise.
• Obtain random samples from outgoing pallets of finished product and check with laboratory instruments that the samples meet company quality standards and customer’s color code standards.
• Collects pertinent data to ensure processes are within tolerance levels.
• Conducts required testing procedures as outlined by customer specifications.
• Enters data into usable programs for management review.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Inspector, QA performs quality raw material receiving, work in-process, and end item inspection at defined points of inspection.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Durham, NC

Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
