Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an IT HCM Manager to lead our Workday development team and own the technology that supports HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting. You’ll guide delivery, set priorities, and partner with HR leadership to translate business needs into reliable Workday solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach developers, maintain platform stability, and keep the roadmap moving forward as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or equivalent.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in HR technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes such as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting and Onboarding, Talent Management, etc.
• Experience with Waterfall project and development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Workday developers and analysts.
• Set team priorities, delivery expectations, and capacity plans.
• Build a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Own the Workday platform including configuration, integrations, reporting, and business processes.
• Oversee Workday biannual releases and ensure stability and data integrity.
• Provide technical oversight for Workday integrations with payroll providers and other systems.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to shape the HCM technology roadmap.
