Qualifications

• 4 years of professional web development experience with a proven track record as a WordPress Architect Lead Developer.
• Expert level knowledge of modern WordPress architecture including Gutenberg, custom block development, React-based themes/plugins, REST API, and hooks/filters.
• Strong frontend skills with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue.js).

Responsibilities

• Translate Figma designs into fully responsive WordPress builds across devices and browsers.
• Architect custom WordPress-based features, plugins, and block enhancements to meet business needs.
• Perform code reviews to ensure performance, accessibility, security, and SEO best practices.
• Partner with product managers to identify UX improvements and cost-saving opportunities; evaluate proposals and plugins for technical viability.
• Provide accurate scope estimates for bugs and features; review external estimates for technical accuracy.
• Manage code deployment and versioning using Git/Bitbucket; troubleshoot core/theme/plugin conflicts.
• Maintain clear documentation for internal apps, block frameworks, and system architecture.
