Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Print/Textile Designer for Women’s Ready-to-Wear in Minneapolis. You will shape the creative vision for prints, color, and patterns across key women’s apparel businesses, collaborating with Design, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams.

With 8+ years of textile design experience and a strong portfolio, you will translate runway and market insights into commercially viable artwork, from concept through to final production, while mentoring junior designers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of textile design experience in fashion.
• Portfolio showcasing sophisticated print, pattern, and color.
• Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator; knowledge of AI is valued.
• Strong color sense and pattern merchandising.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Research trends and translate into seasonal artwork direction.
• Create original artwork across florals, geometrics, stripes, plaids.
• Collaborate with Design and Merchandising to connect artwork to silhouettes.
• Lead artwork development from concept to final product.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to creative tools.
• Present direction to cross-functional teams.
• Manage large scope and resolve roadblocks.
