Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Wiring Technician to provide hands-on leadership within our wiring department.

The Lead will guide a team of Wiring Technicians to assemble and wire custom electrical panels safely and in accordance with engineering drawings, project specs, and Panelmatic standards. This role coordinates daily work, provides technical guidance, inspects completed work, troubleshoots wiring issues, and supports the team in meeting project schedules and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical panel wiring or related manufacturing.
• Previous lead, senior technician or informal leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to train and mentor less-experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Wiring Technicians on a day-to-day basis.
• Review engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to determine requirements.
• Prioritize daily work based on schedules and production needs.
• Layout, drill, and prep subpanels for assembly.
• Install DIN rail components, relays, blocks, and nameplates.
• Route and terminate wires per project drawings and standards.
• Inspect assemblies for routing, labeling, and workmanship.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and support engineers and technicians.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on techniques and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
