Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an experienced Wire & Harness Electronics Assembler to support complex cable and harness assemblies in a high‑quality manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes reading electrical schematics, performing precise soldering, and ensuring conformance to BOMs and drawings.

Candidates should have 5+ years in wire and cable harness assembly, strong hand dexterity, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years hands-on wire and cable harness assembly experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex wire and cable harness assembly operations including point-to-point wiring and harness routing.
• Hand solder and de-solder wires and connectors using through-hole techniques.
• Prepare wires (stripping, tinning, lead prep, termination) and crimp, stake, fasten, and secure components.
• Assemble harnesses per electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Support First Article Assembly builds and provide feedback to engineering/manufacturing teams.
• Inspect, test (go/no-go, basic continuity), troubleshoot defects, and perform rework/repair as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and complete production documentation and quality logs.
