Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking hospitality staff at Chateau Élan in Georgia to warmly greet guests, prepare and serve drinks, and uphold beverage service standards according to company policy.

Ideal candidates will comply with state liquor laws, handle cash transactions accurately, and maintain a clean, organized station. Hotel experience is preferred, and you’ll join a team dedicated to exceptional guest service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work with guests, colleagues and patrons.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws required.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 30 lbs through crowded spaces.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and prepare and serve drinks per service standards.
• Adhere to state liquor laws and company policies.
• Prepare station for opening and close of shift.
• Handle cash and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Perform side work and maintain cleanliness.
• Attend shift and be available as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Hospitably greet, prepare and serve drinks to guests according to HEI Hotels and Resorts beverage service standards.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare station for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift.
• Follow all cash handling and bank operating procedures as outlined by HEI Hotels and Resorts.
• Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
• Ability to use point of service computer.
• Full knowledge of state liquor laws.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
