Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking a Construction Manager in Houston to lead wind energy construction projects from start to finish. You will supervise on-site crews, ensure safety, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to meet scope, timelines, and budgets.

We value a decade of wind/construction experience, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to interpret schedules, drawings, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of wind energy and/or construction experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Demonstrated ability to complete complex, large-scale, multi-million-dollar construction projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong management skills, with ability to prioritize and resolve multiple issues while under schedule constraints.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents such as Gantt chart schedules, technical drawings, and contract documents.
• Proficient with typical computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint).
• Willingness to relocate (temporary) as required for each project site location.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure successful project execution from start to finish.
• Provide an on-site leadership presence to manage crews, troubleshoot issues and ensure safety of all personnel.
• Provide daily guidance and supervision to project crews.
• Execute on project plans meeting work scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time completion.
• Allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams, resolving technical issues and challenges as they arise.
