Job summary

PrintWorkers is seeking a Lead Operator for wide/grand format printing. You will set up and operate large format printers, ensure color accuracy and dimensional integrity, and supervise workflow during production runs.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience with large format equipment, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office, and the ability to handle substrates and perform routine maintenance. Day shift with flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating large format printers in the printing industry.
• Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to use hand tools for machine adjustments and trimming.
• Excellent eyesight and attention to detail to spot defects and misregistration.
• Stand for periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual or semi-automated large format printers.
• Inspect first-off pieces and conduct quality checks for registration, depth, and dimensions.
• Manage substrates and adjust machine settings for different calipers and weights.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mid-run issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following company guidelines.
