Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of criminal justice investigative experience.
• Experience substitution: more experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis (up to two years).

Responsibilities

• Oversees and conducts civil, criminal, and administrative investigations, interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
• Directs use of confidential data systems like CLETS, DMV systems, and credit reporting systems.
• Prepares specialized investigative reports for executive staff and other departments.
• Trains and supervises professional investigative staff in conduct of warrant investigations and related activities.
• Acts as liaison between DHS and other criminal justice agencies to coordinate investigations.
