Job summary

Race Rock Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee welding and fit-up for utility poles, signs, and structural assemblies. The role emphasizes weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and schedule adherence per AWS D1.1 and customer specs.

You will lead a single shift of welders and fit-up personnel, ensure safety, provide training, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining traceability and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding/fabrication with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• AWS welding certifications or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and WPS/PQR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily welding and fit-up for poles and structural assemblies.
• Direct welders, fitters, and operators with daily assignments and feedback.
• Ensure adherence to AWS D1.1, weld procedures, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate workflow and scheduling with plant stakeholders to meet takt time.
