Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of welding engineering experience.
  • Experience leading troubleshooting and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Experience with CAE/FEA for weld distortion and residual stress.
  • Bachelor's degree in welding/materials/ME.
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Experience with metallic additive manufacturing and solid-state joining.

Responsibilities

  • Develop welding procedures to meet spec restrictions and joint requirements.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams on advanced welding and R&D activities.
  • Validate NDT results and interpret test data to improve designs.
  • Develop test plans, run simulations, and analyze results for performance.
  • Ensure compliance with welding standards and codes in production.
