Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of welding engineering experience.
- Experience leading troubleshooting and resolving bottlenecks.
- Experience with CAE/FEA for weld distortion and residual stress.
- Bachelor's degree in welding/materials/ME.
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
- Experience with metallic additive manufacturing and solid-state joining.
Responsibilities
- Develop welding procedures to meet spec restrictions and joint requirements.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams on advanced welding and R&D activities.
- Validate NDT results and interpret test data to improve designs.
- Develop test plans, run simulations, and analyze results for performance.
- Ensure compliance with welding standards and codes in production.
