Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Texas seeks a Production Lead to guide daily tasks, monitor labor hours in Epicor/Vantage MES, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will train staff, supervise equipment operation, and maintain housekeeping to meet cost and performance objectives.

The role requires blueprint reading, effective communication, and the ability to interpret Sabre’s quality standards while coordinating with teams to reach production targets and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must learn how to use Epicor/Vantage to report data, check schedules and train staff.
• Must read blueprints and visually inspect shafts and hardware.
• Must read Sabre's Quality Manual and tolerances.
• Must communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and delegate daily tasks to production employees.
• Use Epicor/Vantage MES to collect labor hours and track process info.
• Supervise duties to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Prepare proper training for production employees as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working environment.
• Communicate via Microsoft Outlook with internal and external teams.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklift and pallet jacks.
• Assist employees in reading blueprints and interpreting plans.
• Contribute to master plan execution to meet delivery dates.
• Ensure machinery and tools are in good working order.
• Enforce company policies and produce quality output.
• Assign work to meet priorities and monitor overtime needs.
• Observe performance and assist in evaluations.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure attendance.
