Job summary

Encore Electric seeks a Welder Foreman to lead the shop floor, ensuring safe, on-time fabrication and high-quality welding across multiple projects. You will coordinate crew, assign tasks, and maintain tools and materials to keep the operation moving smoothly.

Responsibilities include monitoring deadlines, enforcing safety policies, mentoring welders to pass certifications, and keeping the shop organized and compliant with AWS/ASME codes in a dynamic construction setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with welding codes (AWS/ASME) and QA/QC procedures preferred.
• Ability to mentor welders to pass certifications and improve skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the welding shop and assign projects to the team.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of work.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• Provide training and support for team members as needed.
• Assist with project fabrication estimates and material take-offs.
