Lenco Armored Vehicles, a U.S.-based manufacturer of armored vehicles, seeks a Second Shift Welder/Fabricator Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift CNC and fabrication team. You will weld, fabricate, and inspect components while ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding and fabrication in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience on a shop floor.
• Expert-level MIG welding skills.
• Advanced ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Strong communication and the ability to manage a diverse team independently on the second shift.
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety-critical structural work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on the shop floor throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the 2nd shift CNC and welding/fabrication team to meet daily goals.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and remove bottlenecks.
• Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies.
• Fabricate parts from engineering drawings and work orders.
• Fit and assemble components prior to final welding.
• Weld in multiple positions and ensure weld quality and appearance.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and structural integrity.
• Maintain shop-floor safety and a clean work environment per OSHA.
