Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Reno, Nevada. This exciting contract role offers the opportunity to plan weddings with flexible scheduling and training provided. Candidates must have at least 2 years of wedding or event planning experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends, along with reliable transportation. Pay is $350 for 10-12 hours per project.
Qualifications
2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
Ability to work weekends is essential.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
Attend a final details call with clients 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day prior to the wedding.
Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design.
Manage full wedding day execution from initial vendor arrival to final breakdown.
Greet, direct, and act as the main point of contact for all vendors.
Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
Coordinate and assist with placement of personal and event details.
Support the wedding party with guidance and timing cues.
Ensure all end-of-event items are properly packed and accounted for.
Proactively manage and resolve any issues that arise.
