Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to provide wedding planning services in South Carolina. This is a contract role allowing flexible scheduling, where you'll manage the execution of weddings to ensure a seamless experience for couples. Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup.
• Manage full wedding day execution.
• Greet, direct, and act as the main point of contact for all vendors.
• Coordinate and assist with placement of personal and event details.
• Support the wedding party and family members.
• Ensure all end-of-event items are properly packed.
• Proactively manage and resolve any issues.
