Job summary

You will collaborate with product management, UX/UI, QA, and analytics to align technical roadmaps and priorities while mentoring junior engineers. On-site in New York, the role involves leading development and maintaining large-scale consumer web systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field and 5 years of professional experience in building large-scale consumer web apps.
• 3+ years designing accessible, performant web apps for high-volume audiences using HTML5, CSS3, JS and React.
• 3+ years collaborating cross-functionally to align technical roadmaps and priorities.
• 3+ years modeling security, privacy and accessibility across the SDLC in a large-scale consumer tech setting.
• 2+ years mentoring and providing architectural leadership to multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain responsive web applications with accessibility emphasis.
• Write clean, well-documented code following standards and best practices.
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure reliability and functionality.
• Collaborate with product mgmt, UX/UI, QA, analytics and stakeholders to align roadmaps.
• Lead software development, mentor engineers, and oversee maintenance of systems.
