Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation in New York, NY seeks a Wealth Advisor with a strong track record in sales and wealth management. You will coordinate with Advisors, Trust Officers, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive financial planning and solutions for high net worth clients.

Required is a bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of sales in financial services, or 13 years total education/work experience with 5 years in the high net worth segment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years’ sales experience in financial services, or a combined 13 years of higher education/work experience with 5 years in high net worth sales.
• Proven track record of implementing wealth management strategies.
• Securities licensing or CFP/CTFA/CPA/MBA/JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client relationship team to ensure access to all resources and solutions for the client.
• Assess client goals and objectives with team to determine wealth management solutions.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the client base and revenue.
• Maintain and expand revenue from a book of business through ongoing relationship management.
