Job summary
The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Waterfront/Marine Structural Engineer to act as the technical lead on waterfront and coastal projects. The role includes planning, engineering, and construction support for shoreline protection and marine structures, with responsibilities in coastal calculations, structural analysis, and construction documents.
The ideal candidate will perform design work, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations or remotely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience relevant to feasibility, design, or construction management.
- PE License required or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead and designer on coastal, waterfront, and marine infrastructure projects.
- Perform coastal condition calculations and structural analyses for shoreline protection and marine structures.
- Lead construction documents development (plans and specifications) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams; develop and apply advanced design technologies.
