Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in the Water Business Group for Sacramento, CA. You will direct and coordinate multi-discipline teams through the full project lifecycle, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met in complex projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering (PE preferred), 7+ years of PM experience, and proficiency with MS Office/MS Project; CAD experience is a plus. HDR emphasizes employee ownership, inclusion, and delivering safe, sustainable water

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE licensure.
7+ years related experience with project management.
MS Office and MS Project proficiency required.
Strong leadership and multi-discipline coordination.
Active participation in employee-owned culture.
CAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate multi-discipline project teams through the project's lifecycle.
Manage small to medium projects; support large projects.
Develop schematic, design development and contract documents.
Maintain client relations and participate in meetings.
Track budget and schedule; ensure deliverables on time.
Provide direction to Engineering leads and staff.
Coordinate staffing and workload across project development.
Ensure adherence to budget and schedule; manage QA/QC.
Participate in agency reviews for code compliance.
Collaborate with accounting and leadership on project reviews.
