Jacobs is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to support our Federal team in a hybrid role, based in Arlington, NY, or Boston. You will lead complex water resources projects, focusing on stormwater, flood risk reduction, and climate adaptation for U.S. government clients including USACE and DoD.

You will guide teams in H&H modeling, prepare design documents, and ensure compliance with federal codes. A PE license, 15+ years of experience, and strong collaboration are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one state.
• Fifteen years of experience on civil site development or civil works for US Government/DoD projects.
• Proficiency with ARC GIS and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Expertise with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM/PCSWMM, HY8, HydroCAD.
• Fluency with Federal codes and standards including NOAA Atlas 14/15.
• Strong collaboration across disciplines and attention to detail.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience with Bluebeam software.

Responsabilidades

• Act as lead Water Resources Engineer for functional teams on projects with varying complexity nationwide.
• Work with project managers to prepare RFPs with technical scopes and estimates of effort.
• Plan and execute complex assignments independently.
• Interpret business issues and recommend best practices.
• Implement regulatory code requirements and design standards for federal programs.
• Lead H&H modeling efforts and prepare engineering assessment reports and design documents.
• Quality control reviewer to ensure deliverables meet scope and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Continue to develop workflows and tools.
• Occasional travel to project sites for observations and meetings.
