Cocoafl is seeking a qualified Utility Mechanic II-Water to supervise and perform maintenance and repair of water treatment plant equipment and facilities. The role includes directing shop personnel, planning daily activities, and ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out both on-site and in the plant.

The candidate will need experience with pumps, motors, valves, piping, and chemical feed equipment, plus the ability to read blueprints and operate office software.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of water/wastewater facility experience.
• Valid Florida Class B CDL or ability to obtain temporary permit within 45 days and licensure within 120 days.
• Ability to obtain Class III Water Distribution Certification within 2 years.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and perform maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment.
• Direct shop personnel and plan daily activities and schedules.
• Inspect to determine preventive maintenance needs.
• Maintain chemical feed equipment.
• Procure parts, tools, and materials for repairs.
• Most duties performed on-site.
• Fabricate pump bases, supports, and pipe components; weld as needed.
• May be required to work during emergencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
