Job summary

PureDry Restoration in Snohomish, WA is seeking a Lead Water Damage Technician who will lead a crew of technicians while performing hands-on restoration work on water, fire, and mold projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely completion on each site.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license; IICRC certification is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in construction, plumbing, water mitigation, carpentry, or related field preferred.
• IICRC certification in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside technicians to complete projects on time and according to plan.
• Adhere to SOPs, maintain safety, quality, and a professional image on all job sites.
• Conduct demolition using hand and power tools safely and precisely.
• Document drying progress with moisture meters and other equipment.
• Coordinate with the In-Home Sales Specialist regarding additional services.
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites in accordance with state laws and company policies.
• Complete all applicable compliance tasks in DASH daily.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.

Position Summary

The Lead Water Damage Technician is a key leadership role responsible for managing and working alongside a team of technicians to ensure the successful completion of restoration projects. This is a working lead position, meaning the individual will perform hands-on restoration work while also overseeing day-to-day operations on job sites. This position ensures that all work is conducted safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Lead Technician is responsible for maintaining a professional image, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and providing excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

• Supervise and work alongside technicians to complete job projects from start to finish, ensuring all tasks are completed according to plan and within the designated time frame.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, maintaining safety, quality, and a professional image on all job sites.
• Conduct clean, safe, and precise demolition using hand and power tools, ensuring minimal disruption to the property.
• Document drying progress using moisture meters and other equipment to maintain accurate and thorough records.
• Communicate with the In-Home Sales Specialist regarding additional services not captured on the initial job ticket.
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites in accordance with state traffic laws and company policies.
• Complete all applicable compliance tasks in DASH daily, ensuring work meets industry and company standards.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure customers receive excellent service and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in construction, plumbing, water mitigation, carpentry, or related field strongly preferred.
• IICRC certification in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Compensation

Hourly Pay: Depending on experience

Additional Pay: Bonus opportunities based on performance
