Location:Onsite –Nashville, TN

Competitive Compensation:Starting at $25.00 - $27.00 per hour,depending on experience and qualifications.

Shift:Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM(hours may vary). Occasional overtime before the shift starts.

We are looking for a Lead Warehouse Team Member for the Slab Gallery. Thisposition will be based at our Long Island City, NY location, where wespecialize in luxury tiles and slabs. The ideal candidate is experienced ininbound/outbound operations, has strong forklift skills, and iscustomer-focused with a growth mindset. This hands-on leader will have strongproblem-solving skills and a collaborative nature.

Crafting Excellence:Your Responsibilities

• Oversee andcontribute to the daily warehouse/slab gallery operations, includingprioritizing shipments, outbound freight carrier documentation, inboundgoods receipts and documentation, maintaining inventory accuracy, andassuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  
• Practice andensure all are following required safety regulations. Take correctiveaction to fix any violations or poor safety conditions and report tomanagement. Maintain accurate documentation on safety training and issues.
  
• Responsible foraccurate inspection, documentation, posting of all inbound goods, andmaintaining inventory accuracy. Safely unloading containers of slabs.
  
• Responsible forthe accuracy of outbound customer shipments. Ensure all shipments arepacked to company brand standards. Carrier documentation is completed andaccurate.
  
• Ensure theworkflow of warehouse operations and proactively avoid bottlenecks whileadhering to warehouse lead times for inbound material, outbound shipments,customer samples, and returns.
  
• Man hourplanning, warehouse/slab yard operations schedule, departmental budgets,establishing work procedures to meet production schedules.
  
• Analyze andresolve work problems, recommend and implement process changes to driveincreased efficiency and utilization.
  
• Maintain time andprocedure records.
  
• Oversee thetraining of new employees.
  
• Evaluate theperformance of employees and provide recommendations for promotions ortransfers.
  
• Perform allduties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SAP or similar operating systems.
• Lean manufacturing exposure.
• Experience with leadership responsibilities in a warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  
• Forklift experience.
  
• Slab handling or equivalent experience not required but preferred.
  
• Microsoft Office experience.
  
• High school diploma preferred.

Relationships & Contacts
Supervisory Relationships:

• Reports to the Warehouse Manager - Ann Sacks.
  
• Supervises a warehouse team of 1-2 employees.

Organization Relationships:

• Frequent contact with company support departments.
• Moderate contact with showroom personnel.
  
• Occasional contact with Merchandising/Purchasing personnel.

External Business Relationships:

• Frequent contact with freight vendors.
  
• Occasional contact with product or supply vendors.

AdditionalRequirements

• Physical Capability:Ability toperform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting,and pushing weights of up to 35 - 50 pounds.
  
• Screening:Successfulcompletion of a drug screen and background check.
  
• Reliability:Consistent attendanceand work performance.
  
• Safety Compliance:Follow all safetypolicies and procedures.

The hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
