Job summary

The Lead Warehouse Associate at Saddle Creek Logistics Services will oversee the handling of customer products, including loading and unloading, while assigning work to warehouse staff to meet customer needs.

This role enforces site safety policies, supervises tasks, ensures timely reports, and coordinates with maintenance for equipment issues. Strong leadership and warehouse experience are essential to support a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in varying temperatures.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written/oral instructions, including unloading, outbound staging and loading, verifying and labeling freight.
• Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report to maintenance.
• Advise associates on care and preservation of product and use of equipment.
• Ensure high-quality customer service through assisting associates in warehouse functions.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
• Adhere to safety policies to ensure safe working conditions.
• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
