Job summary

Americold is hiring a warehouse supervisor in Modesto, CA to oversee receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations. You will manage a shift team, ensure quality, and drive on-time delivery while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include at least 3 years of supervisory/warehouse experience or a related degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, and bilingual Spanish is a plus for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or warehouse experience required.
• Internship program completion or a bachelor's degree may substitute.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, stacking products, and picking and staging outbound shipments to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Facilitate cross communication between shifts and conduct shift meetings.
• Oversee safe operation of materials handling equipment and maintain a clean and secure work area.
• Ensure staff compliance with safety policies, investigate and report safety incidents, and conduct operations in accordance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Direct work schedules, assign duties, and evaluate employee performance, including preparing records and reports.
• Address personnel issues, assess training needs, and collaborate with staff and management to resolve work-related problems.
