Job summary

Hughes Supply, Buckeye, AZ, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse and delivery staff, ensuring safe, efficient operations and accurate order preparation. You will manage receiving, storing, routing and shipments in line with customer instructions, while maintaining DOT records and equipment maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehouse receiving and material handling, forklift experience, and a solid knowledge of OSHA/DOT safety rules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred.
• Be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, DOT and other safety regulations.
• Be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and train warehouse and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Ensure merchandise is received and stored efficiently and records are maintained per policy.
• Supervise routing, loading and preparation of orders for shipment and delivery.
• Review and maintain DOT records and driver training certifications.
• Supervise maintenance of delivery vehicles and equipment.
