Job summary

OnTrac in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Warehouse Package Handler Lead to oversee the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution. You will train new hires, work with Area and Operations Managers to uphold safety and efficiency, and contribute to business metrics.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of industry experience, and leadership experience. Regular lifts of 25–35 lbs are expected, with a Tuesday–Saturday early morning schedule and $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of industry experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Must lift 25–35 lbs regularly, up to 150 lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to understand safety instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
• Train and guide Package Handlers with hands-on demonstrations.
• Oversee packaging handling, sorting, and inspection for accuracy.
• Monitor equipment functionality and manage damaged freight per procedures.
• Check in/out third-party drivers and ensure proper documentation.
