Job summary

OnTrac in Lockbourne, OH is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead to oversee offloading, loading, and sorting of packages. You will train new hires, support performance metrics, and work with Area and Operations Managers to uphold safety and company values.

This leadership role requires GED or equivalent, 1 year of industry experience, and 1 year of leadership experience. The position offers a stable Sunday-Wednesday schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• GED preferred
• 1 year of industry experience
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Regularly lift, push, pull 25-35 lbs; up to 50 lbs occasionally; up to 150 lbs with pallet jack

Responsibilities

• Oversee package handling, sorting, and inspection to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Train and guide Package Handlers with hands-on demonstrations and feedback.
• Enforce safety protocols and dock/conveyor safety procedures.
• Check in/out third-party drivers and verify credentials.
• Monitor equipment and submit maintenance requests; manage damaged freight.
