Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is hiring a Lead Warehouse Team Member to own key daily operations and training. You will coordinate staffing, labor planning, and dock flow while partnering with building leadership to meet daily goals and uphold safety standards.

You will lead training for new hires and experienced staff, including PIT and cross-training, manage the WMS/JDA workflow, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across inbound and outbound activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Exemplary safety record.
• Certified on pallet rider, counterbalance, and hi-reach (cherry picker preferred).
• Proven record of working independently with little oversight -High degree of initiative and urgency
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Thorough understanding of inbound and outbound operational priorities, dependencies, and processes
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Comfortable with Microsoft programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, etc.
• Solutions orientated proactive problem solver

Responsibilities

• Coordination: Staffing plans and adjustments to meet daily goals.
• Planning, allocating, and coordinating all activities in the WMS.
• Manages movement of resources to optimize dock flow.
• Scheduling and executing order changes in WMS/JDA; assign work.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Transportation for urgent deliveries.
• Release of work to picking queue to facilitate staging and loading.
• Assign emergency replenishment tasks to fulfill priority/transfer orders.
• Printing Transfer paperwork.
• Coordinating pre-load trailer inspections and pre-cooling per temperature specs.
• Identifying and resolving loading issues.
• Printing end-of-day packing slips and reconciling orders.
• Tracking inbound PO status, scheduling deliveries, distributing daily schedule.
• Gathers OS&D information and tracks resolutions.
• Maintaining organized work area; ensuring documents are retrievable.
• Updating MS Excel Worksheets and WMS Apps to ensure data integrity.
• Managing receiving emails and timely communications.
• Capable of contributing in all inbound and outbound activities.
