Job summary

HD Supply in Kent, WA seeks a warehouse lead to operate across case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing and replenishment. You will coach and train warehouse associates and support management with guidance and training.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, operating material handling equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operations, completing paperwork, and backing up warehousing functions as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in warehousing or distribution.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior staff.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience coordinating across multiple distribution center departments.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains warehouse associates on warehousing duties and MHE use.
• Coordinates and prioritizes warehousing work to complete tasks efficiently.
• Operates material handling equipment to load, unload, pick, stock and stage inventory.
• Ensures warehousing functions run smoothly and escalates issues as needed.
• Verifies and enters product/shipment data into the inventory system.
• Maintains clean work areas and follows safety policies.
• Completes required paperwork during shifts.
• Serves as back-up for all warehousing functions.
