Job summary

Precoat Metals is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the Slitter, CTL, Embosser, Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse operations. The role emphasizes improving production processes, training staff, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will analyze metrics, optimize layout, manage inventory, and coordinate with the Production Manager on staffing and priorities to meet schedules and customer demands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a plant setting.
• Ability to analyze production metrics and implement improvements.
• Strong communication and leadership to motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production on Slitter, CTL, Embosser, Shipping/Receiving & Warehouse.
• Evaluate quality and production metrics; implement standards and SOPs.
• Analyze warehouse layout and logistics; suggest improvements.
• Monitor costs, variances and take corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct monthly cycle counts.
• Train new hires and cross-train staff; coordinate staffing with Production Manager.
• Support shipping/receiving to ensure timely unloads and staging.
