Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds consistently.
• Powered industrial vehicle experience is preferred.
• Mobile handheld device experience is preferred.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues affecting customer satisfaction and drive solutions.
• Manage inventory functions to meet metrics (shipping time, fill rate, locations, accuracy).
• Ensure annual productivity, accuracy, and timelines goals.
• Develop and manage a strong team, oversee training, coaching, and evaluations.
• Ensure safety, security, productivity, and employee satisfaction align with objectives.
• Oversee warehouse inventory control programs and accuracy to corporate standards.
• Measure quality and pursue continuous improvement.
• Identify best practices to improve distribution processes.

• Fulfill other duties to achieve business objectives.

GENERAL PURPOSE

As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift, including that all resources are assigned in a manner to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer service, and operation objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Identify issues affecting customer satisfaction caused by operational issues and act as a key change agent for the organization in developing solutions.
• Manage inventory related functions to achievement of goals for operational metrics, including shipping time, order fill rate, inventory location, and shipping accuracy.
• Ensure that the annual objectives for productivity, accuracy, and timelines are met.
• Develop and manage a strong team, oversee training, coaching, and evaluation of all employees necessary to meet or exceed goals.
• Ensure that safety, security, productivity, and satisfaction of employees align with company objectives
• Manage warehouse inventory control programs and assure location and accuracy meets our corporate requirements.
• Actively measure quality and strive for continuous improvement.
• Continually seek ways to improve the overall distribution process and identify best practices.
• Maintain compliance for areas of responsibility and participate in internal and external audits.
• Other duties may be assigned to achieve business objectives.
