Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors in the Tampa area is seeking a Warehouse Manager - Exempt to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping, while maintaining safety and accuracy. The role oversees staffing, training, and performance, collaborates with sales and operations, and champions customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a growing distribution network.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to operate a Microsoft-based computer system.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and wire‑measuring equipment.
• Read, speak and comprehend English both orally and in writing.
• Ability to read a map.
• 3+ years warehouse, distribution, logistics experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle electrical materials and other warehouse products.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/order management systems
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, staging, loading, and shipping.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, pulled, staged, and prepared for delivery or pickup.
• Coordinate warehouse workflow to meet customer and branch needs.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing material to ensure proper handling and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and overall service.
