Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is hiring for a versatile warehouse associate to support six areas including Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates will be certified in material handling equipment and able to lift 70–100 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and pass a drug screen. Overtime may be required for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months in a warehouse environment or equivalent.
• Pass a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• May require overtime for full-time associates.
• Able to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Must lift 70–100 lbs by hand.
• Wear safety composite shoes.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick and move products up to 100 lbs.
• Support multiple warehouse roles including Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
• Unloading trucks and palletizing products as needed.
• Assist with organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders.
