Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Second Shift Forklift Operator in Chattanooga, TN. The role runs 5:00pm–3:30am, Monday–Thursday, with a pay of $19.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience and forklift operation skills, with preferred certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months warehouse experience.
• 6–12 months forklift operation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or forklift-training program within the first 30 days, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily inbound workload and assign tasks to the team.
• Verify received inbound accuracy within warehouse procedures and customer requirements.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by work group for accuracy.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if unable to self-correct.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
