Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Automation Solutions role to lead automation project selection and validation on new business sale projects. You will build ROI justifications and coordinate with vendors, cross-functional teams, and on-site staff to ensure successful deployments.

The role requires experience in warehouse automation, project management, and data analytics, with travel up to 30–40%. You will participate in SAT testing, punch lists, and post-go-live support to optimize performance

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years in warehouse automation, material handling, or warehouse systems integration.
Experience in warehouse automation with sortation conveyors, goods-to-person, autonomous vehicles/robots, or AS/RS.
Automation, management consulting, physical & process robotics experience.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management operations, data analytics, Lean methods, and industrial engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead or support RFP projects by guiding automation selection and validation.
Build ROI and justification using multiple criteria to select optimal designs.
Support on-site and vendor communications and escalation handling.
Coordinate pre-go-live and SAT activities, including test plans and punch lists.
Analyze data from dashboards and systems to support optimization projects.
Track milestones and budgets, and update project plans.
