Job summary

Neovia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate Lead to manage daily warehouse operations at the Chanute, KS facility. You will lead shipping, receiving, inventory control, and dock activities to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient flow of goods.

The role requires 1–3 years in warehouse settings with leadership experience, forklift proficiency, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. You will train teammates while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents and work instructions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping materials and products.
• Coordinate and monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, destinations, and shipment schedules using various source documents.
• Oversee dock operations, including trailer loading and unloading, dock scheduling, and freight movement.
• Ensure proper documentation of shipments, receipts, inventory transactions, and transportation records.
• Operate and assist with equipment used for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, and material movement.
• Demonstrate safe operation and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles.
• Train, coach, and support warehouse associates while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
• Assist with inventory control activities, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
